Apache’s access.log is an additional log file where our server administrator may view the activity of the server. The log file is located in the Apache root directory.
mod_log_config is a variable which allows the configuration of the basic logging setup (format, mode and severity) of Apache’s logging.
The format is customizable and can consist of line printable text, HTML, or XML. The severity of information that is outputted from Apache is configurable, and can be set to debug, error, or info.
The mod_log_config module requires that this directory be writable.
That is, code is generated by the server during the processing of a request, and is not part of the static code of the Apache core engine.
